"...If some XHL franchises were put in cities where a hockey already exists, IE: Vegas, do you believe there would be any conflict of interest?"
Our variant of the game is unique, appealing and wholly entertaining in a way that traditional hockey cannot compete against with respect to the consumer value. Providing a family entertainment can never be construed as a conflict of interest; not for the fans and certainly not for the promoters and facilities owners. Their interests are best served by providing outstanding value for the consumer's leisure dollars and filling the seats of the venues we engage. Both are well served.
As to the existing - and for the most part Failing - sports franchises in regions we enter, if they are truly viable we can and will coexist. If they are not, then they will either be absorbed or put into a very difficult position. Competition is good for the industry at large. Unfortunately, there has been none. It is for this reason that Professional Hockey has been permitted to degrade over the past couple of decades.
We believe that the public deserves a better form of Ice Hockey. The only conflict of interest that may arise is that of the lowest common denominator. We are in direct opposition of permitting hockey to become a bloodsport for the masses.
